2020 Kannibal Coat of Arms — Transitional Reverse Bar

The 2020 Kannibal Coat of Arms — Transitional Reverse Bar marks the point at which the Kannibal Coat of Arms first entered the silver work as a reverse design.

One face retains the earlier Kannibal Hektor reverse—the crowned diamond flanked by the reversed K and H with the traditional purity and weight legends. The opposite face introduces the full Kannibal heraldry that would become the standard reverse on later art bars.

The Coat of Arms brings together recurring symbols from the work within a quartered shield: the castle, crowned diamond maker’s mark, vampiric skull, and stacked bullion bars. An inverted cross divides the fields, while a modified crown and bicephalous bat complete the composition.

With the earlier reverse preserved on one side and the newly established Coat of Arms on the other, this issue records a transitional point between two eras of Kannibal Hektor silver work.

Originally issued in 2020, the bars were individually numbered and produced in proof-like and double-enameled versions. Three proof-like examples—Nos. 072, 073, and 092—were later reacquired directly from their original owner and briefly reoffered by Kannibal Hektor.
