The Lesser Lights of Heaven is an original silver work designed, sculpted, cast, and finished by Kannibal Hektor.
Created as part of my continuing exploration into 3D sculpting, physical model making, and casting, this piece marks the beginning of a series of individual works that will be released only once.
This is a true 1 of 1.
There is no prototype, test casting, artist copy, alternate edition, or second example in existence. The design will not be reproduced or released again. Once this piece is sold, The Lesser Lights of Heaven is permanently retired.
Cast in 2 Troy oz of .999 fine silver and given a hand-applied antique finish, the piece carries the subtle variations and character inherent to individually cast and finished silver work.
A True One-Off
These one-of-one releases are a way for me to put select original work into the world as I continue developing new techniques, forms, and ideas. Some may lead me toward entirely different future work. Others will exist only as the single object they became.
